National Geographic's Taboo Series, Muttrimony Episode

National Geographic's Television series, Taboo had an episode in 2012 called Muttrimony about the marriage of two tiny Shih Tsu's. The dogs were part of the Allen-Nieves Family and Spoiled Dog Designs was asked to design the wedding apparel for the whole family of dogs. The only issue was that the bride was pregnant and growing bigger by the day. Her wedding gown had to be adjusted to fit her growing belly again and again. And the wedding was just in time since she gave birth right after the ceremony.

We did an ivory gown with lots of seed pearls, a detachable train and poofy headpiece. 

The groom wore a black tuxedo with tails and their brother wore an ivory collar and satin long tie.

The weather was SoCal prefect for the ceremony, when the Bride and Groom were carried down the aisle.

The guests - two legged and four legged - all had a wonderful time celebrating love and marriages of all kinds.  There were two cakes, one for people and one for dogs. We loved our and the dogs seem to love theirs.

It was a beautiful day filled with love and celebration. And then the Bride retired to her bedroom and delivered a litter of adorable puppies. Good timing.
