Dog Bride's Gown and Headpiece

This is the Bridal Gown we designed and made for Bella to wear for the finale of our Dog Fashion Show for the 2014 Birmingham Fashion Week. Bella is only 4 1/2 pounds so the weight of the dress and the size of the tiara was a big part of the design. The fabric was sheer silk beaded with tube and seed beads into a floral design all over the skirt and appliquéd on the bodice. The top was a harness so she could be walked down the aisle and out if need be during the event. The underskirt was layer upon layer of tulle to make it stand way out but weightless. 

The headpiece was a tiny tiara that sat between her ears and tied under her chin. There was a pouf of soft tulle on top and a short veil - long enough to make a statement but short enough  not to hide the dress. Scattered on the veil were beaded flowers to match the dress.
